Arrow Community College is a community based adult learning collective where being new at something is cool!

The idea for Arrow community college was inspired by Denmark’s N.F.S. Grundtvig’s Folk High School movement of the 1800s. Grundtvig’s teaching philosophy took shape during Denmark’s transition to democracy. He felt that the classical education excluded people in rural Denmark, and wanted to educate people in a way that centralized oral culture and helped people find their identities in the context of their local communities, while also learning about and connecting with other cultures. In a time of information gatekeeping, ACC aims to create a community of curious people interested in becoming the best versions of themselves, so they can pour back into their communities.
